TOM'S BIO

Tom Robbins hails from Natchez, Mississippi, and has been a bluesman for the past 25 years. Formerly heading the premier blues band, "Mississippi Tom" and the "Mudcats" during the 90's, Tom shared the stage with harmonica wizard Gary Greene and legendary sax player Sonny Wells (side man for legends including Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, and B.B. King). Robbins also fronted the "Chicken Head Blues Band" for two years in Charlottesville, Virginia, and was quoted as the "quintessential Houndog" by the C-ville review. He continues to support the blues playing traditional folk blues from the Delta to the electric sound of Chicago.
